Lots of different food has animals in it. We eat chicken, cows, sheep, fish…<\/strong><\/p>\n

But do we eat dogs and cats?
Of course not!
We live with them, walk them, snuggle them, play with them –
We even clean up their poop!<\/p>\n

But did you know that in some countries, people DO eat cats and dogs?

That\u2019s right! In Korea and Vietnam they even have dog meat festivals!<\/p>\n

And in France and Switzerland, you can eat horse meat!<\/p>\n

But why is it that for us, cats and dogs are the the lucky ones?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seems pretty random, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Especially when you know that cows are friendly animals and love to be petted too!<\/p>\n

So isn\u2019t it strange that you can pet your dog with one hand… and eat a pork chop with the other?<\/p>\n

It seems that what we think is YUM or YUCK is pretty random!<\/p>\n

Of course, nobody likes to see dogs or cats get hurt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nobody wants to hurt animals!<\/p>\n

And just like dogs and cats, no animal wants<\/strong> to be hurt.<\/p>\n

They want to live, play, and be happy, just like you and me!<\/p>\n

But when we eat chicken, pigs, cows, sheep, fish, they\u00a0do<\/strong> get hurt to be put on our dinner plate. And a lot of the time, they don\u2019t ever get to be happy, or even play outside!<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the good news:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have a choice. You don\u2019t have to eat ANY animals!<\/p>\n
